Step #1: Enable Windows System Support in BulletProof FTP Server

Step #1: Launch the GUI for BulletProof FTP Server and navigate to “Management -> Settings -> Auto-Start”

Launch the GUI for BulletProof FTP Server and navigate to “Management -> Settings -> Auto-Start”.

Next, toggle the “Windows System-Service” checkbox and give the same USER and PASSWORD that you use to login to Windows.

NOTE: The program stores information in the %LOCALAPPDATA% path for the USER. If the SERVICE runs under a different USER than the GUI, than it will have a different %LOCALAPPDATA% path and it will not be able to see the Settings, Users and Groups. If this is a problem, you can change the path for these files and override the storage-path by:

– Launch the GUI
– Navigate to Management -> Settings -> General
– Toggle the “Override Storage-Path” and set it to something like “c:\ftp\settings”
– Click “Accept” and the program will migrate this information to the new directory
